What’s the most pain you’ve been in that wasn’t physical?

I felt the pain in my chest when I read the question, but I am trying to tie it to a memory. I know I recorded a video on my phone that day.

October 17th, 2022. I don’t know what exactly was going on that day, but I had reached my breaking point. The most pain I had felt was in heartbreak and despair. I did not understand how I could be doing everything “right” on paper and still be feeling a way and be struggling. I just wanted to be happy.
