Day 10
I got paid yesterday. My check was $618. I’m guesstimate from Day 1 was $620. Not too bad.
After the negative was taken care of I was left with $582.
what I did not take it to consideration, or were people normally don’t talk about is the fact that usually when you set a budget, you are already in a place. You aren’t starting from zero. That being said, I am definitely going to be behind for a while. But I am OK with that because I understand that is a part of the process.
I ordered $65 worth of groceries. My new goal for myself is to order my groceries online so I don’t get excited when I get in the store and buy things that I’m not supposed to get. I signed up for Walmart+ Which gives me 30 days of free delivery for the same day. My groceries will be here by 7 PM.
I also paid for my yoga training which was $175. I also also ordered me something to eat for right now which was a total of $21. That will come out of my allowance amount for the month.
Other than paying for yoga, my groceries, and my meal for today, the only other things I will be sending money to our My church tithing. I did see that my Apple subscription did process today so that was $38 out of the account as well. The rest of the money will sit until next week if I can help it. I am supposed to be going out with my friend on Wednesday so we will see how much I spend there.
Of course today is January 30, so these are the bills for February. Did I get all of these things taken care of in January? Absolutely not. But as our checks continue to come in the money continues to flow and we will see how that is working. I have decided that I’m not going to try to monetize this website website from the beginning. I’m just going to use it to track my content.

After paying everything I have $220 left in my account. $50 will be transferred to my savings automatically tomorrow.
I know for a fact that my check on the Monday coming up will be shorter than this one because I did not work as many hours due to my training. I am officially out of training now though, so I will be getting closer to 40 hours starting next pay period.
