3 Things that I do because I like to see how much I’ve grown

Some people use rubberbands. Some people use the reminders app or sticky notes.

My mind is so bad. Ima blame it on my ADHD. To stay organized and ensure nothing slips through the cracks, I do at least a combination of three simple yet effective methods: writing on my apartment wall, texting reminders to myself, and jotting down notes in my journal. Additionally, I consider my new life hack is an app called Notion to track and manage all my completed tasks in one convenient location.

I will explain how these methods help me stay on top of my commitments and maintain a structured approach to productivity.

  1. Writing on My Apartment Wall: One of the simplest ways I remind myself of important tasks is by writing them on my apartment wall. I really wish i had a big as dry erase board or chalk paint on my wall. By using erasable markers or sticky notes, I create a dynamic display that can be easily modified as priorities change. For now, i just get big ass paper from dollar tree. This lets me visualize my to-do list in a prominent location that I see all the time. . Whether it's a deadline, an upcoming event, or an essential errand, this method ensures that I am constantly reminded of what needs to be done. As things get updated and change, I use different colors to write over the current stuff. When it gets to looking to crazy I simplify everything in Notion and then get a new sheet of paper.

  2. Texting Reminders to Myself: I am always on my phone. texting reminders to myself has become an invaluable method. I even use speak to text on my watch if I’m driving. Whenever I have a task or an idea that requires my attention, I simply send a text message to my own number. I got that hoe pinned as my favorites. At least once a day i go through all of the messages. most times Siri doesn’t understand what I’m saying, but it at least lets me spark that idea for me to come back to it again.

  3. Jotting Down Notes in My Journal: For more elaborate or long-term tasks, I find solace in my trusty journal. There's something incredibly satisfying about physically writing down my thoughts, plans, and reminders. By using my journal, I can delve into more detail, brainstorm ideas, and establish a chronological record of my progress. This method helps me declutter my mind, fosters creativity, and provides a dedicated space for introspection. i love writing! Moreover, flipping through the pages of my journal offers a sense of accomplishment and serves as a reminder of the tasks I have completed along my journey. I love going back and reading old journals so yeah this is very key in that proves.

  1. Tracking and Managing with Notion:

To consolidate and streamline my productivity workflow, I rely on an app called Notion. Notion acts as a centralized hub where I record and track all my completed tasks. With its versatile interface, I can create customized databases, task lists, and kanban boards to suit my specific needs. Notion allows me to categorize tasks, set due dates, attach relevant files, and even collaborate with others. By having all my completed tasks in one place, I can easily review my progress, identify patterns, and gain a sense of satisfaction from ticking off completed items.

In a world filled with constant distractions, it's crucial to employ effective methods that help us stay organized and focused on our responsibilities. By utilizing the techniques of writing on my apartment wall, texting reminders to myself, and jotting down notes in my journal, I ensure that important tasks are never forgotten. Furthermore, by leveraging the power of Notion, I can effortlessly track and manage all my completed tasks in one convenient location. These three methods, combined with a structured approach to productivity, have proven to be indispensable tools in my quest for staying organized and accomplishing my goals.
